    Hang in there...
it does suck, When we had hurricanes Katrina and Rita come through... the neighborhoods with buried electric lines were only out of power for a few hours... we were without power for 9 days... It seems to me that anyone would figure out to bury the dang power lines then , but NOOOO we have to have the old fashioned power poles, I do not like our power company.. we have power surges ALL the time and everytime the sun shines to bright or a soft breeze comes through our power goes out... I am tired of resetting my clocks!!

But just hang in there... or you can come stay with my bunch I have room but I have two monkeys who wouldnt leave you alone, they ask 340million questions to visitors...

You guys need to move up here to the Northeast. You'll have the cold to deal with but so far not the hurricanes. I would not want to be in your shoes. Hang in gang!

    Amen brother!

I just got the 3 sleds out, washed them down and ran them a while......I'm ready for the snow whenever it hits!

I don't sulk when I winterize the boat, I just get ready for the next "season" of fun!!!

BTW, my boat is NOT winterized yet LOLOL

Thanks guys....Hopefully, the power will only be out for a couple of more days...Currently, I'm living at my aunt's and uncle house. Their area is back to normal

I don't think I could ever live in an area that snowed...Tropical S Fla. is more my style....I like getting a tan and fishing all yr....Plus, the women are in bikinis 12 months out of the yr.......Also, the Bahamas are only 50 miles from me.

Hurricanes are just the price to pay for living in paradise. I def. see Costa Rica on the horizon for me....Might move my whole operation there....

Well I am sitting with no power as well! Started the boat though! I have been spending $75 every 3 days for the generator gas. The first generator I had threw the rod. Thought I was joking about me throwing back, Huh?? Got another one and so far so good. Got two poles down with main feeder lines, and well, have not seen a damn truck in the area. However on the bright side, when we call the local utility company (FP&L) they acknowledge that we have no power. Usaully it is, your area has power, check your breakers, just ignore the power pole laying in your backyard! Did I mention I started the boat????
