I think that today might have been in response to the war I started with Bank Of America...

Went in to deposit checks as I have done for 21 years. I am sole proprietor of my company Compleat Angler. Sole signature... Sole every friggin thing. For those twenty-one years I have deposited checks made out to me, Compleat Angler, Deep C, C-Gull, or what ever. As of today they refuse to take any checks made out to anything other than Compleat Angler...
The way I see it, once those checks are endorsed they are live instruments and same as cash...

I'm so friggin siick of this caca that when I get back from the Bahamas I will switch this last remaining account out of there to someplace else. Any suggestions?

You certainly have had some troubles with them. I hope you get it straight, it seems like your gonna have to hunt to find a bank that will treat you right.

Sounds like to me that they don't want you money. Is this also BOA? I left them a long time ago and have not looked back. Have been with Fitst Citzens for over 30 years now and could not have a better bank. Good luck!

Well I closed all kinds of crap when that credit card deal came down even though I renegotiated a fix there... It kills me because they're less than a block from here and from my house in the keys and the one in New Jersey. Very convenient... This account has all my "auto pay" stuff in there. Cards, mortgage, phone, etc. So now I gotta let like twelve companies know that I'm switching. It's as bad as losing a wallet...
