very simple dude - go to the hardware store and get some Tero Ant Killer. It comes in a little bottle, very thick clear liquid. I usually tear the box into small postage stamp size pcs and place them right where the ants are moving thru. Within a very short time they will all be gathered around the stuff - put out several spots. Within a day or 2 they have carried it back to the colony and typically kills them all. Been using it for about 15 years and has never failed me yet

I use some stuff at Lowes - it is listed as fire ant killer, but it is a nasty nasty smelling white powder (do not use the pellets). The pellets kill a few but mostly just make the colony break up and start several smaller ones. I typically use this powder, out it on pretty heavy and they will eat it and take it down into the colony. Go back a few days later and treat again if you see any activity - otherwise kick it open and you will see dead ants everywhere in there. A few will typically survive and start a new smaller colony nearby, just treat it - that usually takes care of them for a fairly long time. Can't remember - I think it is an Ortho product. Just make sure it is the powder, and smells incredibly bad (DO NOT STORE IN GARAGE!!!!)

I had them in my hunting trailer and tried all kinds of crap and it would work for a little while. Then one day the Farmers Daughter told me to put little piles of Corn Starch under the sink and gone after a couple weeks never to be seen again.Dont ask me what it did but it worked.

That is the stuff- smell will make you sick but it will flat out nuke a fire ant. I took the container and put it in a sealed gallon ziplock inside another sealed gallon ziplock and it finally quit stinkin up the garage.
You can get a generic version at some ACE Hardware stores (Hampstead NC has it) that is quite a bit cheaper - just read the lable and make sure it has the same stuff in it as the Ortho.

Terro is THE stuff to use. As long as they keep coming keep adding terro. I looked these ants up on line, Called Pavement ants. Can have multiple queens in a nest. Keep feedin till you get em all.
