This ain't like me... I'm usually the picture of health... I have my first cold in years... Not sure what to do. In the old days it was NyQuill to the rescue but being the sober dude of today I can't go that way? Tried chicken soup. Burnt the roof of my mouth. Ate an orange for vitamin C and swallowed a seed. Am I supposed to starve a cold and feed a fever or the other way around ?...

Figured it would be fun to see home remedies some of you might have to help speed the Deep back to his normal chipper self...

macaroni noodles, chicken broth, black pepper, orange juice.

Prepair the noodles in chicken broth, load it up with black pepper and drink a half gallon of orange juice, when you wake up you will be well... it works... at least for me it does.

well, put extra pepper in it and add some tabasco.. that will clear it up.

My brother the doctor says a cold is a virus and just has to run it's course, drink a ton of juice or water and piss it out all that other crap is just to make you feel better but doesn't help a cold go away, a hot ,hot shower soaking your forehead will open up your sinus'es so you can breath grasshopper!!!PEACE

just look around the yard, I am sure there are some old zincs that have been removed, then you can take them with you everywhere you go. You know like the cheerios we use to give our kids when they were little for a snack.
