It's not about race - at least I don't think so. It's might be more about minorities.

If and when a woman gets elected president, I know that I will feel that it means something big. I will think about women fighting for the right to vote and on throughout history and eventually to the White House. I will feel like I want to celebrate that moment. I am a woman and I might actually feel some REAL pride in the first woman President.

This does not make me a bad person.

Our country made a real change - what is so deplorable about that?

Jimmy, the fact is that Obama excited a lot of people through his egotistical movie star like approach to politics. Say a lot of nothing and you'll get anyone to believe you Hope, Change, Yes we can. Just like Baltimore City's motto....Believe. You see it everywhere and it means something to everyone, but nothing set in stone.

He's a great politician and he won the propaganda war.

Keep looking for a single reason and you'll be a while.

People yearn for acceptance and being part of something bigger then themselves.

Add that to Bush's inability and/or unwillingness to communicate to the American people and voila! We've got this new rockstar we call Obama.

How about the answer to how Hitler motivated his people to do what they did? It's amazing what people will rally behind when you get them motivated.

There were a lot of ego's on display today, that's for sure.

Also don't forget the billions of your tax dollars that will be allocated and spent in the next 4 years. Not to mention the jobs Obama will have to fill in the government. The ticks had to get out there and get in line.

if McCain had won, we'd be hearing alot of the same negativity from the same people. America voted and they voted Obama. No I didn't vote for him,didn't have one thing to do with his race. I have faith in the people of this Country, the majority voted not the same way as me. Ok that's history, it's not nearly as important as the future. We're all in this together black, white, what ever, let's get on with it.
