Hurry up and pass this stimulus package

The people are hurting. Just flood the country with money and hope something happens.

Borrow and spend your way to wealth. Hey, thats the way to go. Only losers live a life of thrift and hard work.

I thought that housing would continue to increase in value at 20% per year forever. Who through a wrench in that money machine? We were flush with home equity loans, cars, and all kind of cool things.

Forget tax cuts. No one is making enough to pay taxes anyway.

    Spend, spend, spend.

they passed the stimulus. 780 billion of miscellaneous pork. Actually so much pork you could call it a Texas Bar-Be-Que.

I don't think anyone knows what will happen but I bet Acorn gets a bundle.

The guy who bombed the "Cole" had charges dismissed. Obama has been in 2.5 weeks and while quite energetic has diminishing poll numbers. I am not impressed. I believe we are on the wrong path.

Would you please pass some of that Bar-Be-Que.

If there so eager to spend all this money why dont they start dumping it into the infrastructure. For the past couple of years all you heard was how bad the bridges are how they need replaced how the highways are in such poor condition, how the electrical grid is in desperate need of updating and substations need secured. They want all of this green energy why dont they start building wind and solar farms. Didnt Reagan dump a bunch of money into infrastructure to jump start things in the 80's, gee you think maybe if it worked once it could work again especially when these things need done anyway.

    Now Now Duck,

Don't you know that we have "change" in place now. If they went back and did like Regan did that would be "same old thing". That doesn't quite sound right "same old thing you can believe in"!!! Beside's what did Regan know, he was just a "cowboy" Frank,SeaPower

Any true Texan would scoff at having pork BBQ.... Son, it's beef here in the Longhorn/Lone Star State... otherwise know as the Great Republic of Texas.

GALAZIO, I was wondering about that BBQ comment. y'all prefer beef, and dont even bother using a rub, correct? just straight over a hardwood fire, brisket and ribs

More like Louisiana or North Carolina Bar-Be-Que.

Whats wrong with us? There is something really wrong with us. We are not excited about the spending package.
