    Exclamation Hurricanes are WORK...!!!

Last night we sat looking at the diminished bottle of Motrin while negotiating the dispersement of its inadequate supply of remaining tablets.

"You take three and I'll take two."

"No, you take three and I'll take two.'

"Well, both of your knees hurt and you have to walk on them all the time. And you're really limping!"

"Yes, but your back is really messed up. You should have three. Look at you, you can't even stand up straight!"

Woke up this morning and both of us are feeling muscles we didn't even know we had.

Today's agenda: Move the remnants of Cay Lime to a remote location. Get on the roof to try to reattached the metal caps that already blew off - double-riveted this time. Caulking where it leaked during Hanna. Siphon off some of the cistern water. Secure all loose objects inside (In case roof blows off). Loose objects outside already secured for Hanna. Move car into the garage and shore up garage doors. Wait in long line to fill gas can with additional diesel. Top up Land Rover. Stand in long line to shop for remaining foodstuffs (including LOTS of Motrin).

I can sympathize with you. The last major one we had I had to work 18 hrs a day for 14 straight days. The night of the hurricane. I had to get on my brothers roof in 75 mph winds and cut pine limbs out of the roof and patch the holes. He had a limb that pierced the roof in a valley and it looked like a firehose was stuck into the house with all the water that was coming in. Ya'll stay safe down there.

Good luck on the strom heading your way, and it's a shame what happened to key lime thats for sure....it sounds like the casa made it through without too much damage...but no matter how much storm damage you guys have to deal with you and gringo still have eachother...and together ill bet the two of you can ride out anything mother nature decides to throw at you. Good luck to you and gringo...my family and i will definitly throw a few prayers up to the big guy for ya's.

    Thanks guys!

We got everything done except moving the boat. We finally decided on a location for her - that was the biggest thing. It's not like we are worried about her getting it but worry more about what she might damage.

Bought TWO large bottles of Motrin.
