    Hurricane Dolly Pics

The tidal surge and a strong west wind put this Luhrs on the pavement.

Wind completely stripped the roof off my boat house. My only damage was a busted stay and Rupp will have it here Monday.

Our condo boat docks and fishing pier were easy to find. Virtually every dock and pier that was on a west facing part of the island was destroyed.
Powers off so not much can be done in the way of repairs. If we don't get some humidity control going soon, mushrooms will be sprouting in our condos. The worst part is Texas International Fishing Tournament may be called off. There will be a meeting Monday and the decision will be made whether or not we will have it. No power = no ice, no fuel, no accomodations. The power guys are giving it hell but there are 56 giant poles knocked down and it just may be too much for them to get done.

How do you use the 20 Mule Team. Our condo is dry but just the ambient humidity will grow mushrooms. Give me a little more in fo.

    it's a borax concentrate

you just dump it out flat on some cardboard and some plastic and stick it up in your attic scuttle hole it works really good like a dehumidafier in the back of cubboards also the bugs will stay out when it hardens up or gets moist replace it. tip was from fema adjusters

    Maybe

Get a bag of calcium chloride. That is what they put in those plastic cartons to draw the humidity out of boats over the winter.
BTW I have a Sister in Port Mansfield. we have exchanged messages , but we have not been able to speak person to person yet. Phone and power are still out. How did their town fair???
