IT HUFFED AND PUFFED AND BLEW OUR KITES DOWN!

I have fished rougher seas but I have never seen wind like we saw today. It blew so hard that even the high wind kites were blown down and we snapped the spars on the regular SFE! The sails were snapping, When we were able to get baits out (1/4 of the time we were out) the sails were waiting for them. We went 5 for 5 in about two hours. I have always had a passion for sailfishing. I don't know if has to do with the fact that they are so predictabe or the that we only have to run two miles, from the dock. Maybe it is just a reminder of my child hood and what I love about fishing, CATCHING! Whatever it is, I just know that I love it. Can't wait for the next cold front.

Ooooh... Busting a SFE spar is rough... I gave it a pass today, instead starting to twist mako rigs for next season. I heard they flopped a boat upside down at Boca today. Gald to see you guys got back in one piece... Even more glad to see you got out and wrecked em... Pretty work.
