woody wax...put it on let it sit...longer the better...wipe off,,,,yoou may want to do 2 coats..then apply the sealer with a foam brush...let dry and wipe off...lasts a long time...also good for the deck...I do my deck twice a year....blood just washes off

Try any marine grade polish/cleaner that you use on your boat surface and rub it on just like you would normally. Then(I know this sounds crazy) either use some toilet paper or paper towel and wipe off the oxidation.

Seriously, try it in a couple spots and see for yourself. The toilet paper and paper towels will collect more of the black oxidation than a regular rag will. A rag will remove some, but not all.

Try it and let me know how it worked out for you. You might be surprised!

Thanks all for your input. As soon as we get a warm winter day, above 45 I will try it. The wind was howling last night and a light dusting of snow on the ground. Thanks again.

As for my fuel tank that I am having built, do I have to ground it? I do have a sending unit on it. I posted it on boats and motors also but this seems to get more hits in the winter.

FLITZ This stuff works wonders. I get it at the local marine hardware store and I believe that West Marine carries it too.
