You're right fred, it shouldn't be. There's more to it, and I don't want to hijack the thread for a group therapy session.

It's great that you got to do the fun things with your mom. Mine's the same way. At an age approaching your mom's she still likes to go out on my Hobie Cat. My dad was a lucky man.
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.

Keep it...it's not that bad at all and you will need an avenue to get away once in a while!

Hey man, that's pretty neat right there, even remembering the week you met her, that long ago, cool stuff.

It all started with a boat. I was hellbent on buying a 27 contender. Problem was I didn't have enough money to buy the boat. That's when I started thinking....

My house was cool- hot tub, foozeball table, kingsize bed in the middle of my bedroom that I named "Paradise Island". I was a wannabe player but I had my moments.
Anyway, I decided that if I got a roomate, the rent would be enough to make my boat payment
Hmmmmm....If I got a roomate, it might as well be a young hot single girl Even better- A hot girl with a dog! that way she wouldn't mind feeding mine while I was out fishing. Brilliant!

I was 33 at the time and decided she needed to be 24 - 30 years old. The more I thought about it, the more I imagined all her friends coming over wearing skimpy little outfits and having pillow fights etc... Wow!
So I posted a few ads on the internet and told everyone what I was looking for in a roomate and after a few rejects....low and behold Emily shows up. 26year old hottie with a basset hound. Perfect!!! I even rented her the master bedroom to get an additional $50 rent.

    I bought my boat!

Although the boat thing was working, the girl thing wasn't going as planned turns out she was a "nice" girl with a really dorky boyfriend and her only friends that came over were as big as giant bluefin . I wasn't really attracted to roomie at all so when we were hanging out, I would tell her all my stories....everything We became pretty good friends and she ended up getting another job and moved 1hr away and broke up with her boyfriend.
Well, I guess she got kinda homesick and I sure wasn't complaining one night when she showed back up....

Next thing I know (1 year later), it's sunset and I'm on my knee on the deck of HOTROD MARLIN with a ring in my hand.

That was 2 years ago and now we got the little one on the way and the boat is for sale

    Things sure change fast!
Writing this makes me think that maybe I oughta keep my boat.....
Damn you need to go FISHING,I believe you been huffin to many paint fumes.. .Got that crib put together yet Nancy..??
