So you call a guy out... make a claim that he "said X"... the guy rebuts your claim and asks for you to point out where such "X" is... and now you agree with him as if this is a disarming/end to the discussion???

Glenn is just resorting to the typical rope a dope technique that is so popular with those who can't win in a straight up fight. His fatal flaw is not realizing that a major characteristic of this "Big Dumb Polack" is being as stubborn as they come.

The beauty of written argument is the ability for those that read it to see exactly what was said without spin. Of course the fatal flaw with such an assumption is the requirement that such readers have any semblance of reading comprehension ability.

You miss the point. Dave provides a list compiled by Cato of so called experts that condemn stimulus package ( they may indeed be). No testimonials or discussion of the merits, but it must be true if this list is published with names---- kinda like the implication that you too will be an athletic superstar if you eat your Weaties because the cereal box has pictures of many sports figures. In other words--- propaganda for the niave

The niave, or those over eager for "expert" or credible substantiation of their own arguments. Its funny, while studying Political Science in college, I was often amused at the idea that a field so COMPLETElLY subjective could be even casually considered a "science." The phrase itself is a paradox at best, as the word "political" sullies any word it preceeds.
