I have a feeling that all hell is going to break loose! Iran will get involved and Syria will send there fighters in and......It is going to be a mess! Gas prices, shit, ya ain't seen nothing yet. The Isralies are some tough S.O.B.'s and don't take any crap. Niether side is going to flinch, and this thing could cause major world problems. Just my opinion, I hope it calms down, but this was coming.

yeah its not looking very good to say the least. been watching the news and CNN with my dad alot the last few days, chit is really hitting the fan hard over there.


fuel prices arent good, and arent going to get any better i dont think. but more then that, there are AMERICAN soldiers dieing for their country over there.

Marty I totally agree with you. This is the whole reason I DO NOT watch the news. Lets talk not just the Middle East but America also. High speed chases, high school shootings, post office shootings, letter bombs, drive bys, Why do KIDS do these and some adults. 15 minutes of glory on the news. Only thing is instead of 15 minutes it turns into days. And they (the news agencies) blame cartoons for violence amoung our younger generations. I blame the news media for showing this violence over and over until you actually get sick of hearing it. Beheadings in Iraq would not be such a big deal if they left it out of the news. Now we have Isreal and it is the same thing. When I was in the service I stayed up to date on what was going on in the world. Now when they break into what ever show i am watching to broadcast this weeks high speed chase or high school shooting I turn the TV off and play games on the PC. I do not find this entertaining. If you think the United States does not use properganda to sway the public try reading the news from other countries. Sorry to Rant just erased my last paragraph. Just my opinion.

So why do we as a public prefer to hear about bad news instead of good news? Never could figure that one out. This forum we love to hear the good news of someones catch or the enjoyment they had bringing a loved one along for the first time. Yet alot of us sit and watch the bad news of the world. There is just as much good news to report. Hell the Auction That Wahoo and Glenn did for the Boys and Girls to me is News. A couple of guys doing what they can to help others less fortunate. To me that is NEWS. Killings, murder, rape, shootings is not news and not very entertaing. And I have said my peice to the networks on many occasions. Honestly would you rather hear more good things in the news. Or the same old shit of who killed who or who bombed this or blew up that. Does it need to be covered YES. Just do it like you do with the good news. Give it a 15 second announcement and drop it.
