Hey Box, -"Good Golly" that fishes with me has his own ex. company. I know for a fact that cheap builders will contract ex.companys to treat the slabs prior to building. Problem is , the unscrupulous ones water there chemicals down prior to treating just to stretch their profits. Sucks but its true. What the other boyz are saying is right on about the little preventative stuff inside around the baseboards. A lot does depend on the critters being targeted. I had a heck of a termite problem and have had holes drilled at a 45° angles into block and slab , chemical pumped in and then the holes plugged with mortar. Anyways ,if all our answers dont quite get it, then Ill give you "Good Gollie's" phone number for a personal counseling session ! peace
