    Hot Summer Tuna Video!

    Been a great year so far and looks to get even better. Off the wall fishing with some exotics thrown in to boot. Have been getting some underwater video of the tuna as they come to the boat.

    Very cool! Okay.....so I have about a million questions for you .... first, did you say Oregon? I had no idea that offshore Oregon had such nice water, how far do you guys have to go offshore?

    In terms of your gear, that was some awesome underwater footage. Can you tell us more about the gear you were using? I saw a camera on a boom when your buddy was booting (super funny by the way), what was that one and was that the one that you used underwater?

    Yep that footage was offshore between Oregon and washington. I will trailer to where the fish first show up. Normally about the middle of oregon.

    I use a sony H9 for the above water filming and you are right about the underwater camera. That is it attached to the boat hook. It is a helmet cam. I just wire tied it to the boat hook. A bit hard to aim but I am getting better with it each time out.

    What kind of helmet cam? Also, what type of media does it record onto? That seems like exactly the set up that I need to get. Thanks for the help!

    That was one of the best videos yet on SFC. The editing was extraordinary and the content first class.
