I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, ****less, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is. If it makes you feel any better, I had most of my money in Wycovia. My Father always said "diversify" but I loved the unusually high dividend checks that Wycovia paid. My retirement portfolio is down 92%!

I had Lehman underwritten structure notes in my account. It will be years before I see the pennies on those dollars.

The good news is that the Repubs want to remove the Mark-to-Market rule. Then you can just decide what you think your stocks are worth. Nevermind what the market says.

Now's the time to buy. Visa is lower than the close of its IPO day.

Definitely, if you have cash in you 401 accounts, you can ease the pain by buying in on all your same stuff, probably at 5 years ago prices now, once the bailout money gets rolling in a month or so the market will rise. The only way you really get hurt is if your broker prompts you to "sell now before you lose any more." Then like to Godfather told Michael "whoever comes to you with this meeting is the traitor." Then treat your broker just like Sal Tessio.

You know? Bottling up resentment and sugar coating it will cause damage to internal organs... Let it out!

Dog kisser? Bullshit... Hes a poodle poking beagle boinker...
Monkey shit? At least thats from a primate... Unload I say... conger eel shit is more to the point...
Dirt eating? He munches maggots from festering bung zits...
Fat Ass? He's positively Chesneyoid...
Inbred? Product of a ripped rubber...
Ignorant? Water of perfectly good air...

Tylenol? Bust out the bong!

Now I feel better...

absolutley this is the time to dollar cost average into retirement plans. 529, mutual funds. This is where you make your money at the end of the day. As far as buying indivdual stocks right now, it is too too early. Market is going lower except for bear rallies to trade. No where is really safe right now, financials cant be trusted but jpm, gs, citi, will get to interesting levels and should be bought in time, rimm & appl I am licking my lips hoping Rimm sees 35 and appl 40s, where they were before consumer and market binge. Visa is a bloated pig whose shares will be unloaded by all the member banks who own it, they are still majority owed by banks who still have to liquidate, it is going lower, should be bought,.

Funniest thing i heard all weekend is that in order to fix the economy govt is repealing the main law which came from the s & l crisis, mark to market accounting. During S&L crisis, there was no regulation to disclose the true value of mortgages, so as values dropped no one knew that they were worthless before it was too late, so they put in mark to market meaning there was a constant valuation of what the loans worth was. In this crisis, values plummet so thereby raising debt to capital ratio for banks, govt changed that rule to let banks take on more debt. Now to entice investors to buy these shaky products, the same investment banks who were sinking sold investors insurance products to protect their shaky investments, thats like drilling a hole in your boat offshore, and asking the coast guard to put on 10 ton pumps to bail your boat (totally insane). Now gov't says no mark to market, who cares what the values are, let the new bubble begin.
