I dont need to watch something like that. But, Imagine now, every meeting will be like going into a courthouse. You cant blame them. People just pulling out guns as a solution is just F'ed up. No one sits on a board to be in a firing squad.
Also, I see the guy claims god blocked the shot. Well, its about time dont you think? I mean for 2000 years people have been waiting for him to stop just one form of injustice, maybe he finally gets the message. If god starts making things right then, perhaps I may start to believe in him too. He has a lot of catching up to do.
Glad no innocent people were shot, or hurt.

The intellectual's perspective on divinity or divine intervention is interesting.
However, there appears to be holes in the scientific approach and they expect people to believe that living the way we know it is just random chaos.
There are much wiser people than me that do believe in a higher power, are they all wrong or stupid? Unlike Bill Maher, I know that I'm no where near smart enough to answer that.
I saw that video and I can't believe at such a close range that nobody was killed or at the very least seriously wounded.
If I were sitting at that desk facing the wrong end of a gun and realized that I didn't get hit, I'd be counting my blessings too.
Was it luck that nobody got hit? The shooter was awfully close.
Followers of many religions don't expect there god to stand in the way of bullets, people of faith tend to believe that there is a plan for them and that they will never understand the reason that things happen.
Most believe that they one day will become enlightened.
I'm just glad with all of the crazy things that we see on the 24/7 news that this one time, innocent people didn't get gunned down in cold blood.
They get to spend more time with their loved ones and with all of the strife in the world, it's nice to see a massacre didn't take place.
I'd like to think there's a reason that it turned out the way that it did.

What was that lady with the purse thinking??
I do want to say, A well thought out articulate response. However, I dont compare myself to Bill Maher but, When I die I plan on asking..........Enlighten me, Whats your point? And dont think for a minute Im going to sit around here all day playing "Angel" cause I aint. Should he exist which I dont believe for a minute, it seems like some sort of sick joke, dont you think? I was banned twice for making fun of someone or something on here, Im gonna tell him he needs to get banned.
His joke is killing people. Anyway the point is, glad no one got hurt that didnt have it coming to them. As for the gunman........I hope you choked on your last breath. You had it coming to you.
Instead of Bill Maher being your barometer of logic ask Stephen Hawking, hes pretty bright.
