    Hinch Marina THANK YOU :)

Just want to thank Hinch Marina and Off the hook bait and tackle for a great day !
    Flounder tournament and barbaque !
Started out taking the ferry back from OC and jumping on the boat with my wife and kids. Went out to try and find some flounders for my 6 and 4 year olds but found nothing but skates and sand sharks. So we moved out to the rock piles and found tons and tons of small blue fish. I could not believe it , this was the first time i have seen my wife having a great time on the boat. Kids also had a blast reeling them in !

Back to the dock and time to eat!!

Pulled pork sandwitches , snow crab legs , chicken , beans , cole slaw, salad , corn on the cob ! Absolutely thank you so much for this event every year as it is a very nice family event !

    As always top notch !

    Thanks very much from
Lori , zack , colby and myself !

Some pics of our day, as you can see we did not need flounder to make them happy anything to bend the rod brought excitement

John, you know that you and the family are always welcome here. Glad that you were able to make it home and be part of the BBQ again this year. I always look forward to it and it always seems to go by too quick for me to enjoy (I hear the food was good, but don't think I got any!).

Thanks to everyone that came and also to Sharky's for putting out another great spread! I look forward to next year!

    Marty,

If it's Diet Dr. Pepper you want, we'll have it in the private fridge! Look forward to finally meeting you and maybe we can even get an SFC gathering started!

    Thank you Chuck and Mary!!!!

Thank You Hinches!!! The BrothaBob family had a great time fishing the tournament and an even better time at the BBQ. Prior to this weekend we had only caught a couple of shorties this summer with tons of skates. Since it was a little breezy, we decided to fish the Del. Bay up along the concrete bridge. Watched the fish finder and saw lots of activity that turned out to be weakfish. Caught two small ones and decided to move on. We headed out towards the edge of the rips and parked. Within an hour, we had a couple of short flounders and sea bass. Over the next two hours we had our fill of short ones.....about 12 flounder and 12 sea bass with only 3 junk fish all day. Our single keeper of the day was caught by our lovely daughter Elisa (aka Monkey) Check out our Pics!!!!

This is the first fish she has ever held.....notice the huge gloves!!! She'll be scrubbing floors with them later.....lol

    John,
Saw you headed out on Saturday. Only thing better looking than your boat is your family... glad to hear you had such a good day. Sounds like I missed a good tourney.. I know Hinch's puts on a great event. I agree on Sharkey's... how can you beat a cheeseburger with shrimp and crab on it. Real man's surf and turf!
