Just found your site thanks to a link on another site. I love jigging for stripers and I'm just getting my tackle together to try the Butterfly system for them.

I hope there are some other Striper jiggers here. Looking forward to learning a lot from you all and sharing what I know.

Thanks. for the welcome! I mostly fish out of Point Pleasant, but I go everywhere in NJ (Atlantic Highlands, Cape May, LBI, etc.).

The Gambler starts jigging stripes in November. Since my boat has been ill for quite some time, I am relugated to party boats and the beach. But it's all good!

Stripers on the butterfly? Nope, got to be a Tolmaz iron or they won't hit it. You should check out the jigs Tolmaz sells. They work great for the stripers. Almost forgot, Welcome to the Board.
