Don't know... But not having Matsui most of the year hurt... pitching killed us, again... But the biggest problem is too many primadonna's. When we had our run in the '90s, these guys were buds and you would see them out on the town together...a real TEAM. Not now. I bet the Sox were the same way when they won it a few years ago... NOTHING about the Yankees makes me say "Team".
