Been Twice... To Cairns when I was young. Mother ship deal We did a day behind the reef to warm up and try to catch bait (macks, wahoo, tuna). We had a pile of rat blacks and caught a few baits. Then went outside for the rest of the week, sticking back in to catch more baits. First fish was an 800lb fish and I about flipped. That would be the "Average" fish we saw. We raised 26 over our stay and my dad's buddy killed one 1131. Friggin awsome...
Second trip was to Port Stephens. Had a couple bad dog bites with tuna, then a mad dog spate of striped marlin. We touched a coupel rat blues and one pig 600 and change... I guess it really caught on fire a few weeks after when I went...
