i went trail riding right when i got home from school for a couple hours.

LOT of fun out there in the trails and grass fields. Unlimited donuts lol . I think i held one set of donuts for like 2 minutes . slid around like crazy. tires grab just enuf to move me, but not enuf to dig down. load of fun.

Well as Ernesto comes to shore the power comes and goes. Lost power on the south east grid arround 10 PM and went to check on both boats as they are in the water. Gottafly is bobbing nicely in her slip and the wind is moving from the NE to south east with not much wind affecting her now. The Predator is getting more of a direct hit now but the extra lines I put on are keeping her rideing where she should sit. Life is good and winds are gusting about 67 MPH. Will be out checking on the boats arround 1 PM but I feel all will be ok when I do and winds should be droping out. Ernesto is making land fall arround Long Beach to Ball Head and the boats are in Wrightsville Beach. More later.

well, just got power back at 9:00

went out at 6:15 this morning, so a little under 3 hrs of no power..no biggie at all. no flooding here, just got a bunch of rain, yard is VERY GREEN now. our backyard didnt even backup with water, usually in a big rain we get 2-3" of water back there til it all sinks and settles into the ground.

Hope everyone else is fairing ok . If anyone in the MHC/EI area needs any help with trees fallen down, or anything at all, just shoot a message and i can help out. Only pulled two trees today from a neighbors place . two big pines dropped into his yard. yanked em and cut em. so kinda just waiting now, it looks like its already clearing up.

everything is all good down here...except for this bitchin' hangover!

neighborhood flooded. i pulled a mini van out of the ditch down the street....the lady gave me $25 bucks too! this happened three blocks away....some people just feel the need to drive thru flowing water in cars

The storm was pretty lame around here. Not much flooding or anything else for that matter. It did get me 2 hours off work though this morning.

Harkers Island...no worse for the ware.

Highest sustained winds ~52mph around 5am. Highest gusts were ~85mph around 12:30am. Power out this morning for almost two hours. Open for business as usual at 11:00am.
