Hey Eppefour or any other pharmacists

that may be here online. I just got a perscription filled for cholchicine. Any other time I have had this refilled it has been a tiny white tablet.

I put it in my mouth and then thought to myself - hold on that tablet was yellow. Looked at it closely and saw a v on the front and 2577 on the back. Looked at the bottle and the bottle says it should be small white and DAN on the front and 944 on the back. on line couldn't help any except for a forum thread that says it is cholchicine but was not a doctor doing the talking. Pharmacy is closed and would like to know tonight if possible.

Some colchicine products are yellow. I can't verify the numbers til I get to work at (AM

I wouldn't trust that pharmer.org as it seems to be a junkie site

I called a Dr. friend who looked it up in the PDR (physicians desk reference). Small round yellow pill "V" on one side 2577 on the other is Colchacine .6 mg. I would take it to the Pharmicist to make 100% sure. I would have looked it up myself but I am at the office. If you have any doctor friends ask them for one of their older copies they are priceless to have around. My mother gave me a copy, shes a pharm tech, you just never know what you'll find laying around the house. For some reason my dumb ass dog loves pills and he will chew apart pill bottles if he finds one to the point you cant tell whats in it, so it helps to have the PDR. Great isnt it my dogs a junkie

If its different than what the bottle says it maybe a stronger or weaker prescription.
