If their in the Continental US, not on land and surrounded by frozen water, I'm going to venture a guess of somewhere on a Great Lake.

Right at the junction near the Mackinac Bridge... I would say you are going to need a hell of an auger if you plan on ice fishing.

They say it was a huge ice wave as far as you can see. Amazing how thick the ice gets up there. So, feel better New England, fishing will be in your neck of the woods long before it hits the Great Lakes.
