First off I'm glad you are busy it pays better than not busy! I like you hate being interrupted when working on anything. Capt. Lee (as usual) has a good point about dealing with the public but I suspect people (non customers) stop by for free info and visual looks so they can do it themselves. You obviously have a good rep. Try and explain to your customers that you will communicate with them as needed and post somewhere about your shop, Customers and employees only!
Customer service is a thing of value however, and somehow you will need to take time out to talk with potential customers about their needs so having an employee to handle some of that would be good or have a "by appointment only" policy. Sounds like you are one of if not the only shop in the area to take on such jobs and complete them. Many shop owners (Bill Judge did it for me) will stop address, your needs,give a quick tour, schedule work and send customers on their way in fairly short order and some won't even speak to you unless you walk in with $100 bills hanging out of your pockets! Try allowing some time to talk to customers get an answering machine that holds unlimited messages and if the weed does'nt work try Hash! You're good, you're busy get used to it! The phone stops ringging the $$$$ stop coming!

One day I was driving by his shop and just came from canals while in traffic this little dude runs out of this shop with a bottle of coke. He sniffed the handle of captain I had next thing I know I'm glassin a boat in his yard.
