Admitting it to ones self is the first and hardest step to getting fixed... I'm alcoholic as they come ... Havn't had a drink in eight years and ten days but still and always will be... Mike took a huge leap tonight in the right direction and I hope we all can keep our support high for him...

i may not be as great a fisherman as you..but a good recovering Alcoholic i am, Brother,admitting there's a problem is harder than ANYTHING you've ever gonna do in your lifetime,and my resume is as impressive as yours..but , mine reads in terms of Military,been places seen things i wouldn't wish on my own worst enemy,My friend you need to go to the next level and get to an AA meeting,walk in..put out your hand to the first person who greets you and say..I need help! AA doesn't care who you are/what you are , all they do care about is helping you get sober, no booze for me for the last 6 years,its gonna be tough,dam tough, have Faith,do as they suggest,ask whatever your higher power may be, to help you.Stand Firm,you can do this!!! any way i can help..PM me.
