Winds have dropped off to 10 kts.

The Weather Channel is crackin me up tonite. They pointed out my rig and the 6 others in this same area and said they were all evacuated because the conditions were so bad. Hopefully Im not jumpin the gun. Dont want to give the wrong impression, I dont want it to be bad for anyone, anyone except me. I need a little excitement damn it!

And the media takes no blame for speculative price spikes. I swear, The Weather Channel has become a propaganda tool of the worst order.

When I woke up, it didnt feel like much of anything was going on. Got the morning routine done and came upstairs to see what the day had in store.

Starboard Side aft we have a workboat tied up pumping us various fluids, so we are holding a lee for him. Winds are around 30kts, with 10-12ft fat swells at about 7-8 secs apart.
