Actually i should have said southeastern Med.I fish the Lebanese coast .The fish species we have here are amberjacks, groupers ,king mackerels,tunas, bonitos , jacks , snappers , small barracudas......Unfortunately less and less every year.

I grew up fishing the Ionian sea (western Greek islands) with many of the same fish you fish for in Lebanon. You may enjoy looking at this thread:
