New to here. Just returned from Cancun where I fished one day flyfishing for Tarpon with Capt. Rodman Hunter. Pretty much had my butt handed to me by the fish but had a great day and will return with more days available to fish.
I live in Oregon, have two jet boats and a driftboat, fish primarily flyfishing for trout and steelhead, but also gear for Sturgeon,Salmon and Albacore.
I am an accomplished flyfisher, or so I thought, having flyfished for over 30 years. The Saltwater game though takes things to a new level of appreciation. Now it's in my blood.
I hope to learn something here ,as well as perhaps contribute if I can.

I've only been onboard for a couple of months and you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of info on this site. Let us hear about some of the North West wisdom about salmon , sturgeon, etc. Hope to hear from you often. I have a son that lives in Manning about half way to the coast from Portland and we go out there about twice a year.
