    Heard a rumor!

    Anyone else heard that the bluefish are starting to get thick out of Ocean City Md? Where theres Bluefish there should be Makos...

    Water is still a little cold but it won't be long. Any report on a location of the blues? We may go on a bait hunt next weekend.

    Yes blues is why makos are there but they need temp too in order to balance their caloric intake... Water between point and B is about 15 degrees light on permiting the makos to get to the blues unless they slid up from way insde and behind. It'll be a while. A degree a day is what we need now...

    the threshers are here out of vb right now. I have a first hand reports of a couple being hooked way inshore... 3 miles off the beach. None landed, but reliable reports.

    I was out at the Jackspot two weeks ago. There were no bluefish. There were some at the Bass Grounds. Definitely not "thick" by any stretch of the imagination.

    I passed a fish store on my way in to work tonight and there was a sign in front MAKO steaks $4.00lb.

    I had a 60 to 70 lb Thresher on just off Sandbridge we were about 4 Miles off the Beach in 62 Degree Water.Jake,Im glad you think of me as a reliable source,lol.

    We will be on a bluefish hunt next weekend also.
    We got blown out this weekend!

    Gotta stock up on shark bait!!
