We selected Sunset Key Resort, a Westin Property. On a small island right off key west. Looking forward to a great family reunion mixed with a little fishing. Thanks everyone for the posts.

hawks cay is good if you have very small children. the houses/condo's are nice and there are a couple of charters there -- tailwalker is first rate. after a couple of days you may find that it is limited in what it offers and during peak times it can get crowded around the pools, and the restaurant on the property can get very busy - especially for breakfast. there are plenty of places to go offsite and most restaurants will cook your catch for you. If you need hotel - like facilities thats one thing, but if you want a condo check out vrbo.com and you will find some great deals.
