Hawaii Charter Recommendation

Hey guys -

I just booked a trip to Honolulu for the wife and I - 2/28-3/8...I'd love to be able to drag her out on a charter with me. First time to Hawaii and not sure what to target (open to suggestions), but looking for a charter recommendation.

On Oahu, Kewalo Basin holds the majority of the charter fleet. You will find many boats with good catch histories. But it needs to be remembered that with fishing, it is never guaranteed on any given day.

Besides that the outfit in the link below will do a good job in trying to find something to hook. The Maggie Joe is a awesome machine which crossed the Pacific from her build location in Washington State. She brought in the second largest Marlin ever to the Basin at 1277 lbs. with a freind of mine at the helm. Good luck.....

Thanks a lot for the info. Definitely not worried about guaranteed catch - as long as we have a good time and get to experience Hawaii fishing, I'm all in. Appreciate the link- I will check them out.

Try Magic Sportfishing, local with the most experience in HI, hope your trip is good and stop by Pacific Ocean Producers when on your trip they have a great store
