Start at less then 60. and work 28 days and off 14
I know of one that turned it down while enougher had to take the job. And No more fishing on their down time. Why? because too many crew boats with fishing line ruining their cutlass bearings

Sit down Shut up And fish
Tide water and Edison Chouest are both big players, 2 for 1 schedule, 12 hours on 12 off, some do 6 and 6. Decent money, easy work.
Try www.rigzone.com, a lot of job postings on here. You could start tomorrow if you'd work in west Africa ( just finished 2 1/2 years in west Africa offshore, miserable place).
That industry fluctuates in line with oil exploration which fluctuates mainly inline with the price of a barrel, except ultra-deep water class rigs, we never slow down.
The shallow water work in the GOM is slow now, so there wont be as many boats working, but like I said earlier if you willing to travel, the opportunities grow vastly. Tidewater has a lot of boat in west Africa.
