Point taken Hol. I actually agree with what you are saying. However, I also refuse to bow to another religion that wants supremacy throughout the world. I (we) have just as much a right to be here as they do. Just like every political issues that are beaten around on this board, they are multi faceted and there is simply not a 1 size fits all answer.

That said, there is someone in Afghanistan and Iraq saying the same thing about us invading their country.

Never in the history of the world has any idea..belief..or individual ,claimed more lives than religion..doesnt matter whose..and the sad thing is,people interpret there "book" as it suits them,and for the most part..all the various books preach peace,tolerance and love, with a smattering of ideology thrown in.what amazes me,is the books are translations and interprtations..by man..so when i see someone like Bachman,or Perry try to rise above everyone else by supposedly being deeply religious..i run..fast.Gimme a self professed "spiritualist" any day.

Is it "religion" or the few "fanatics"? By the way, did you hear on the evening new's about todays disrupted terrorist plot. They caught 3 Nuns from St. Mary's with suicide vest's heading to the local Mosque. Me neither. Frank

No nuns Frank,but i did hear about the priests who buggered children,then the Bishop asked the white house to drop charges to not upset the "image" of the church. which is definitely as tragic.
