    This gripes Mass Ass...

How would you like a 27 cent increase in your gasoline tax, bringing Taxychusetts to the highest in the nation, added to offset needed toll increases to the Mass Turnpike Authority so the folks that use it won't have to pay so much. I'm 57 and have only used the turnpike three times. Guess now I'll have to go to NH to buy gas too. In NH they have proposed a regulation in all bars that folks can only be served one drink an hour. Guess I won't go to NH to drink......

Thanks for the encouragement, I've been thinking of NC, Hobe Sound or Lauderdale FL. It's hard to decide where t he best place to go is. We definitely can't retire in MA. I'm 57 and laid off, my wife is 52 and enjoys her job, a tough mix. We enjoy boating with our 40' Jersey Dawn and hate hibernating for the Winter away from most of our boating friends who live in NH. The thought of boating all year round is becoming more and more appealing, plus we hate stoking the woodstove. We'll see........

Fort Lauderdale was fun.. has become alot like Miami though to me. I liked living in Key Largo.
