GREAT to see!!

I'm not trying to get involved with the happenings of the last few hours or give any opinion except that I love this site...other than the fact that my collegiate grades reflect the time I spend on this site learning the IMPORTANT things!!

I do, however, want to share with yall the generosity of some of the members of the site!
I love to fish, obviously, but I really love to fly fish. Most everything I have learned about fly fishing in the salt has been from reading something posted by this sites many, fantastic fly fishermen gottaflylee, daveS, foulhook, capemayray, onemorecast, and fishfinder...just to name a FEW. You guys are so knowledgeable it blows my mind.

Anyways, back to the quick story....I posted in that forum about a desire to start tying flies. The question posted was which fly tying kit to get to begin my fun journey of tying the fly in hopes of catching a fishing on a fly that I TIED! As soon as I posted this I got a different response than I expected. Instead of telling me which kit to get..DaveS and Onemorecast put together their own kit of things for me including a vise, scissors, spindle, hooks, hair, thread, and a TON of pattern flies and sent me this package for FREE. Their only request was that I help someone else out one day who wants to get into the sport!

Sometimes you are confronted with situations in life which absolutely blow your mind and this was one of those times. The generosity of these guys is awesome and I can't thank you guys enough.
Also, I can't thank Admin and everyone else enough for maintaining a site like this which offers people like these guys the opportunity to shared and be so generous.

I am overcome with this display of generosity!

I hope you guys and everyone else on this site has a fantastic Christmas!!

ps...if anyone wants to show their generosity and send a big box or something that I can put all these woolubuggers and clousers in I would appreciate it!

i have been a member on this site for almost a year! most of my posts are in the fly fishing section.

onemorecast has given my friend (pmgeanflynoc) and i an extremely nice fly reel so that one day when we are older we will get another kid more involved in this great sport? now how many poeple do you know would give two teens a very nice fly reel?

this site is definatley first class.
