Obama promised there would be no earmarked pork projects in the giant stimulus bill. Wrong. This is the "Mother of All Pork" hereafter known as MOAP. This bill is designed to be passed by an administration and congress in office only a short time on a single vote.
There are hundreds if not thousands of projects selected by only a few in the congress. This MOAP is being promoted as an emergency measure designed to save the country from doom. Failure to rapidly approve this will be promoted as unpatriotic, un American, and even racist. There are hundreds of groups covered in this bill who will press for passage as their project is in the mix. Most of these projects would fail to pass if considered individually.
The reason there is no earmarked pork is that this is the the Whole Hog, one giant Bar-Be-Que, the MOAP. The Mother of All Earmarks. The Mother of All Pork.
I hope it is defeated and the parts considered individually.
And this surprises you, why? All the Senators , reps , SCJ , agency heads ect are POLITICIANS, that means keeping there big contribution base happy.As it was stated before..this is supposed to be a Republic..instead, its a democracy, so as long as we keep electing these assholes, they will keep on keeping on. So, basically , its our fault. not enough people clearly shouting ENOUGH!! just ***** & gripe, what the government wastes in 24 hours is equivalent to the GNP of most other country's, write your senators and reps...enough folks do this...and maybe,just maybe, this shit will at least get called on.
