Last year while fishing with Capt John on the HookedupII out of Cape May.
We had John Flores and his brother fishing with us, and along for the ride to check out the bluefin bite in Cape May was Capt Gene Quigley of shore catch guide service. http://www.shorecatch.com/home.html .
We had a good day of fishing with a mix of trolling and jigging.
After the trip i kept in touch with Gene.

And we finally had a chance to get together and talk shop.
I was able to spend last saturday afternoon at Genes house,
We shared info on the hot bluefin bite that has been taking place, off the Jersey Coast.
The Different Lures that have been working.

We were testing some new blanks.
And had fun pulling on some new JPR Jigging Rods and some OTI Rods along with a few fly rods,
I showed him a nice fly rod handle, and
He had the new AVET reel there, the SX raptor 2spd. sweet reel.

So the good new is Capt Gene and shore catch will be hooking up with JPR Rods for a great new venture.
I am looking forward to some exciting thing in the near future
