    Google eyes??

    does anyone use live google eyes in OCMD for chunking?? i dint know if you used em or what?? or if you could even get them up here????

    Never heard of or seen goggle eyes that far north. We have come across cigar minnow (speedos) witch are closely related. If you could get them they would work great.

    For night chunking yellows we have done good with spot. I dont have any experience with them for bft.

    Silver mullet were plentiful in the later part of the summer last year, they also work well.

    Also we found a lot of small jacks around the lobster balls. Simmilar to blue runners but had yellow tails. Frisky little guys, dolphins ate them before any tunas found them (not many tunas on the 50f line last summer.)

    Drop a live croaker down to the bottom for the Bluefins. Love spot and live squid for chunking yellowfins.

    its also great when the anchovies come in..and the tinker mackerel creep through getting some of those in your live well for yft!

    spot for the bft!...always has good luck with em.
