Smile Gonna Roll... Need Suggestions

With no two day window in front of me til at least mid next week to get the boat to at least Norfolk, I'm gonna take the rolling tackle box down first... Leaving early AM...
I'll be back in Palm Beach Saturday afternoon and am already tasting some good home Missus Deep cooking... I'll fly back up when that window opens and finally close out this very long summer season...

What I'm wondering is at this time of year if there are any local fruits or veggies between Jersey and Florida that are note worthy. Missus deep loves it when I bring her "exotic" stuff like that.
For example, when I used to go home after sharks early season. I used to pick up Vidallia Onions and Georgia Peaches. When I used to leave right after Ma500, it was Maryland Silver Queen corn and Jersey tomatos.
I picked off a striped bass and a tog to accompany the bambi thats gonna roll home... Just wondering if you might have suggestions what else I could bring her????

Well Deep, I live smack dab in the middle of orchards and it looks like right now it is apple season and along with that, apple cider season.

Cool... That would work. Any particular variety that rings true as "gourmet"? My forefathers and I spent millions of years evolving to the top of the food chain. I understand meat but don't know diddly about fruits and veggies... I did have a V8 today though...

I'll try to ask the owners of the orchards tomorrow.

Along with Collards, Field Peas and Limas should also be easy to find in the Carolinas.
