Going Fishing
The same lake where I almost drowned this summer when my innertube failed in my belly boat. I'll post some pics when I get back, but here's one from last falls trip. |

Catchem up.
My belly boat almost took me once too... VERY close call on the Pine River in Michigan... trying to save canoeist who got sideways in a log jamb & rapids.... It was good for the two I freed from the trap of the water rushing into the lodged canoe... but then spelled trouble for me. I guess "The Man" decided to fold the canoe in half after a few minutes of me being stuck and sucked under which freed it from the jamb. That was my last time in it come to think of it. But MANY, MANY trout were caught from it in Atlanta (Chattahoocee River), Ohio... all over and in Michigan. Too many snakes and gators here to act as a bobber in the rivers, and the cold water rivers are only ankle deep... so a pontoon is better served now. |
