You'll still have a hard time convincing me of global warming. The statistics aren't concrete enough, there is not enough deviation to give a concrete answer, they can be interpreted by whoever is doing the interpreting.

...skeptics are as valuable to science as are researchers with hypotheses.

Your level of appreciation for the vitality of the evidence may be less than mine. And, your conclusions from the evidence even if I were to find it convincing may differ from mine. And, that's all to the good.

Science works its way towards correct conclusions via debate, sometimes heated debate. And, you need not be a scientist or hold any other credential to engage in the debate. Your views are as important in this process as might be mine.

So, whereas I might disagree with your assessment of the evidence and whereas I might have reached a conclusion on the matter your well within your rights and I certainly respect you right to disagree in a civil fashion as you have done above.

As always, in science time and debate will lead us to the truth.

Back to the point, Global Warming or Axis Shift as some "experts" are suggesting is simply creating more wind...."solar powered wind" is a newer term thrown around these days...once you get the wind moving, gathering up moisture off the Earth's surface, all sorts of storms and catastrophes happen....last week in NE we got hammered by a nice Northeaster and set wind records everywhere 80-90 MPH wind in the Winter, a Winter Hurricane worse that the Perfect Storm they say.....47 degree ocean and wind slamming into 15 degree stationary air....as Hubey says not much sense worrying about it now or later....my sailboat friends have said, the last 4 summers have been the windiest they can ever remember...somebody is benefitting anyway........me, my half full beer can blew off the bridge last summer at a higher rate than ever before........
