we never used any contraptions with Edisto....and she was about 80-90lbs.....
females - are weights flucuate.....big black lab....we looked in to a couple ladders and step ups but we always used to just grab her by the back of the neck..NOT COLLAR.... and lift..she would get her front paws up and then do the rest......no matter where we were - dock - boat - ditch......and if i can do it with a 90lb lab...im sure you can do it Ted
let me know tho if you find a good one....there might be an addition to the family very soon.

Pregnant????????? or Puppy?????
Hey Ted I made one out of starboard about a foot wide with starboard strips screwed on it for rungs with foam noodle cut in half and zip tied down over the strips for traction, and a couple of pieces of foam noodle zip tied at the bottom for floatation. It worked for my Boxer he's about 65 pounds. That yellow stair thing looks pretty good but slippery. Mine worked well but I only made it because I couldnt find one back then.
Dooley is too cool!
I just lean over and grab my dachshunds to get them back on board. Casey has a PFD with a handle on the back that makes it easy to haul him in.
I KNOW RIGHT.....I THOUGHT IT WAS ME.....I was like the dogs not pregnant??!?!?!?!?!?took a little bit before i realized he was asking me if i was pregnant.....HEY HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY THERE BOY!!!!!!!! YOU AND FISHER GIRL TIE THE KNOT YET????
