Its not likely you'll see me this year at the Ma500... Green is a touch tight and we have some much needed work that would be a wiser investment... So instead of Ma I'll be butt deep in getting dirty.
Not that most of you care there are a few who like to follow along as we continue our quest to upgrade the boat. This weeks list includes dialing in the auto pilot to hold course better and touch up the steering system. A little fluid top off, a few pounds in the canister and adjust the auto ram...
A new set of built in wipers is gonna be a formidible task. THese beasts were custom built by someone no longer in the business so we have to fabricate a system from scratch. Stock store boughts wont fit... Big express has a lot of surface area...
Then we get to the electric pannel. Inspection time,change a couple weak breakers, new light switches and gfi outlets all around...
Then the biggies. A new pressure sensor for one tranny, a new oil cap on that side too. A new thermostat on the other then probably an injector job and maybe a turbo clean. Crank the wrenches a bit and good to go...

Been in Jersey most of the summer. Have to head back to Palm Beach in a couple weeks for some major league surgery. Then back here til late October when we take her back south...
We shake the dust off each boat about once a week down there and I'll make room for ya...
Mentally prepping for a hot day in the engine room tomorrow.. Man is that gonna suck!
Put their computer on our computer to talk. Found that our computer works just fine. Found that injectors are firing in proper order. Found that turbo is turboing... What we didn't find is what is wrong!
Jeeeeze... Whats it gonna take? He could see that her sick one was running 300 rpm low of where she should be... He could see she grunted getting up on plane and was throwin some smoke. He could see the sick one sucking 7 gallons more an hour than the happy one...
How the hell is it that with a three page detailed work order outlining all the symptoms that he didn't have a single manual guage to test the other stuff?
Now we need to do an injector and tune job to start. Yes the computer shows that they are firing but are they dumping the right amount of fuel.
Only after we do that can we check the blower to make sure the boost the turbo is throwing is actually making it where it should be going... Grrrrrr....
More days sitting on my hands... At least I have the hunt for the unfindable wiper assembly to keep me company. Talking with hong kong right now... I don't speak chineese but I think they just told me to F myself...
