Germany trip

Going to Germany in a couple weeks. Anyone have any great ideas for sightseeing or food. We are going to be in Straubing, by Munich.

Never been there but really want to see the architecture, art galleries, holocost memorials.

Are you getting a rent a car or going by train over there?

Dachua is a second world war concentration camp.
Is about 40 minutes by train from Munich.

The Deutsches Museum in Munich is huge and worth a visit.

Castle Neu Schwannstein is most beutiful castle in germany. It is near Fussen and about an hour from Munich. Also go see his parents castle can is 300 yards away.

Castle Chimesee is modeled after Versie (spelling) it is out on a an island about 40 minutes from Munich.

Many breweries to tour in Munich.

The Hof Brau Haus in Munich is opened from 10am to 4am daily.

The Gloeken Spiel is interesting also. Huge church with chimes and music on the half and on the hour in the footpath zone.

If it was a little later in the year the Botanical Gardens in Munich are beautiful and the beach near it is clothing optional.

Munich is HUGE take buses and street cars.
The locals drive like maniacs.
