Whether or not you voted for Obama (and I know most of you did not), I personally think it is worth giving him the benefit of the doubt in the interest of patriotism. We face a huge crisis now, IMO worse than 9/11 in terms of an existential threat. This country gave Bush a mandate after 9/11 which unfortunately was squandered. Right now, Obama has a similar approval rating, and IMO a bigger challenge. Is it really worth sniping and griping? Do you really want him to fail?
I know many die hard Republicans who are giving the benefit of the doubt until proven wrong. In the past month Obama has all but pandered to Republicans that he is a centrist (think putting entitlements on the table for cuts). Can't you at least wait until you have evidence to attack?

Its 1.70 or 1.75 I think here in town in NC. There just starting to rise it now so the time summer travel is here it will be way up again. Anyone notice the pass 3 years. Last year it was 4.50, year before that was 3.50, and i think before that was 2.50.
I dont know, but some people are saying 5.50 this year. I sure damn hope not.

Stop staring at my Avatar.
Can gas stations charge any price they want? Is there any policing of gas stations?
It seems when someone farts in Iraq/Iran/Pacastain(sp) the price jumps up a dime when the price of a barrell is stable or going down. WTF Oil is low . I understant the "cause we can" theory but WTF.

During the last ten years gas prices have increased an average of 20 percent from the price in January to the price in June for a given year (this was fairly constant between 17 % - 25 %). Last year was there was a 30% increase
. If history is any measure, we should see prices around $2.10 a gallon depending on where you live. I can live with that. But then again, we havent seen 58% decrease in any given year like we did this past year.
