I don't know if he's still there, but I fished the "Ono Chase" out of there a few years ago. It's a big old Hat. The captain (I think it was captain Kitchen?- sorry it's escaping me at the moment) is a crusty old dude who has been fishing the waters down there for a long time and put us on a good number of fish. His specialty is wahoo. I also did a flats trip, but don't recall the names (sorry). There are two brothers who are well known down there and are widely regarded as being the best guides on the island. The flats are a decent drive from Lucaya. If you are staying at Lucaya, walk into town and grab some squid at the bait shop and then chum up the waters around the breakwater (you'll see it when you get there). We were catching little jacks and cero mackerel from there every night at sunset and it was a ton of fun. Hope that helps.

    bone fish ...

rent a car and go to the bay/north side of the lucayan waterway ... take some old shoes, shrimp and some conch. have fun there are snappers and sharks that cruise through there also.
