    franklin, virginia little help please

anyone been here? I just got here for work and will be at International paper until monday.

this is a very pretty little town. very nice modest sized homes that show a lot of history.

any good places to eat or go out would be appreciated.

One of my old girl friends mother lived out there, her grandfather had built bunch of old homes in the area. I never noticed to many places to eat while driving through town, not to say there aren't any.....
Bojangles or Popeyes might be it, they get high regards in my book.
There are some killer peanut places scattered around...HUBS peanuts kick ass, hard to get excited about a peanut, but they are the best dam peanuts I ever had.
Suffolk isn't too far away, it's a little more developed and might have some better choices.
I'll try to remember to ask around at work to see if anyone knows of anything out in that direction.
