You may have a point, but Id be willing to take odds between a Muhammed Hussein and Billy Joe Bob, about who is more likely to commit an act of terrorism. Im not saying everyone with Hussein as a name is a terrorist, but there is a reason for every stereotype.

I'm not really sure his point is even valid or even well thought out Naughty. Perhaps the "knee jerk" response to defend without any merit that this attack and many others in Iraq and Afghanistan were perpetrated by Muslim or converted Muslims gives credence to the lack of foresight in current events. Personally as a veteran any practicing muslim in the military should not be allowed to carry ammunition post investigation! My own opinion, that, by the way, I served and payed my dues to have the right to express!

I have to agree here. Just open your eyes and you will see everything is not one sided. I think we just tend to focus on an issue when it is a "Muslim" committing a crime. There are crimes everyday committed by many ethnic backgrounds.

I hate to jump in this crap because it seems to be the same stuff over and over again. I will say two quick things though.

First of all, you all seem to forget that there are a bunch of Muslims and many other religions in the military that fight along side everyone else everyday. And don't forget all the Iraqis that joined the US to fight with just as much if not more to lose as well.

Well Glen just to say this, I watched one of my buddies in the Marine Corps, who was black, get shot by a white man because he thought he was too close to his son. We fought like hell to try to save my black constituant who later died.

You bring up a good point with the number of Anglo-Saxon names who have either by religious or anti-government means caused terror on our own citizens. It truly is afine line walked when it comes to religion and State.

However, in recent military history to put it into context, it has been alarming the number of "in house" muslim service members who have turned on those who trusted them and gave oath to protect against ALL foes, foriegn and domestic.

I don't care what their religion or name or beliefs are they should march these SOB's out on the parade deck and stick a 45 in their mouth and make sure all the media is there with cameras rollin and send these chicken shit bastards a message, this Bullshit is out of control !!! I'm sure the bleedin hearts inside the beltway in DC would never let that happen, but it might make a few of these "SCUMBAGS" think about it before they make the decision to pull that trigger !!! I didnt intend for this thread to ruffle any feathers. I just wanted to express my remorse and concern for those affected by this tragedy.

IMO it certainly is a cowardly act to attack unknowingly and unarmed soldiers in such a vulnerable position. But we cant paint all Muslims with the same brush either. I know a few and I can tell you, they want the same things we want. I mean the basis for our country was founded on freedom of religion. That doesnt mean just christian, it means freedom of religion! As far as Im concerned I dont have a problem with the Muslim/Islamic faith. Worship all they want, just dont tell me what to do and I want bother you and tell you what to do. Live and let live! Attacking ones culture and rolling them all into generalization such as being a terrorist is wrong. Comparable to what the Germans did to the jews in the not so distant past. All Muslims are not inheriantly bad! We have bad apples in our baskets just like they do.

So many are affected by this senseless tragedy. Not just the victims and their families. Now all Muslims are put under a microscope which in essence may cause more problems in the future.

I shouldn't speculate, but my guess is that slaughering several of its own and being tried in a military court ( I'm assuming) , or either trials in state Court in Texas--- this sombich is will see the death penalty in short order (relatively speaking).
