    Thanks for the help and the videos. I went the dealership route on this one because I already had the truck there and needed it back for work. My main concern was hearing on going problems even after they were replaced. I also heard a bunch of sotries of people taking them to different guys and having more problems because they didn't know the right way to fix it . Either way they have you by the nuts. I have heard of them blowing out though, too. This is my first Ford. This is my last Ford. Too many problems and I don't have the time or knowledge to fix it myself. I liked my old Chevy.

    just get a diesel next time, not a small gas motor in a 3/4 ton. not enough torque to do what a 250 is built to do. I know, I have a 7.3L in my f-250 and a 5.4L in my gf's f-150. World of towing difference and power
